Therapy for Anxiety

“Do not be anxious…” but how?

Let’s be honest… anxiety sucks. I have never met anyone with anxiety who likes being anxious. What make matters worse is that “trying harder” is rarely an effective solution to not being anxious. Negative self talk, guilt, and shame, are some common responses if you were battling with anxious thoughts. On the other hand, you might even have coped with this by trying to avoid what stresses you out - only to have that blow up in your face later on.

What you need is not more willpower, discipline, or more “hard work”. What you need is further understanding of how your emotions work for and against you, and what are some simple modifications you could make in your life in order to address what your anxiety is pointing out for you. Work with me to relieve your anxiety symptoms today.
